The joy of the Holy Spirit
No matter what's happening in the world nor what's going on in our own homes, we always have recourse to the Holy Spirit. It is the great joy of Christianity. Christ said He would send the Holy Spirit, as indeed He has, especially when we invoke Him in the name of Jesus. We know the Spirit is around when we feel happiness and peace despite turmoil around us. And no matter how great that turmoil is, it can't penetrate the Spirit, it can't take Him away, unless, through our own failings, we let it. "Come, Holy Spirit. Fill our hearts with Your joy. Come, Spirit of God, pervade our minds and thoughts. Come Holy Spirit, heal us and protect us from the negativity in this place of testing. We are in exile but with Your guidance we'll find heaven!"
